Homeless, lost, and cast-away animals cannot save themselves. They need our help. That is why your membership is so very important.
When you donate to us, you are saying you care about going above and beyond to help an animal in need. We are sincerely hoping you will join us in showing that you care about vulnerable animals—animals whose very lives are at stake and who truly have nowhere else to turn for help.
Your yearly membership will support:
• Food, shelter, and veterinary care for the more than 2,000 animals we take in each year
• Spaying and neutering of every animal that is adopted from us
• Robust adoption counseling to ensure animals can find another home…and remain in it when they do
• And a pet lost-and-found service that each year re-unites more than 200 animals with their families
With your help, people who have suffered financial tragedies, lost their homes from fires and other disasters, or fallen victim to sudden illness can keep and care for their pets.
• Our Josh Diehm Fund helps people with emergency veterinary care they simply cannot afford
• When tragedy strikes, we provide Safekeeping for pets whose owners are temporarily unable to care for them
• We provide free dog and cat food and litter to people who truly need it.

Now, more than ever, your membership helps as we struggle with a significant increase in the number of animals coming through our doors. Last year, we took in almost 2,500 animals, an increase of more than 14% from the previous year. We steadfastly remain committed to continuing to serve both animals and people needing help with animals but we cannot do that without you.
