Pets of the Week Kitty Kitty and Gabby

This week’s SCHS Pets of the Week are Kitty Kitty and Gabby! To make an appointment to meet them, call us at 608-356-2520.

Our Cat of the Week, Kitty Kitty, is a 4-year-old domestic shorthair that was surrendered to the shelter because her owner was having landlord issues. This tabby cat is the epitome of an affectionate cat, always eager to greet visitors with a meow upon their entry into the Cat Lounge. She thrives on human interaction and adores soaking up love. This friendly feline is easy to handle, willingly letting you pick her up and carry her. Her favorite pastime is tossing around plush fishy toys, and she’s quite the conversationalist, often chatty and always purring contentedly. Kitty Kitty balances her time perfectly between snuggling on laps and playful antics. She also enjoys being brushed, making her both a delightful companion and a joyful addition to any home. She’s spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

Meet Gabby, our Dog of the Week! This female American Blue Heeler is 1 year and 8 months old and known for her shy nature. Gabby takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, so she’ll need a patient owner who can gently coax her out of her shell. She has experience living with cats and is selective with her dog friends, preferring those who respect her space and food. Gabby is likely to do well with seniors and children of any age. She’s housebroken and walks nicely on a leash, knowing commands like down, no, off, sit, and stay. Sweet Gabby is ready to find a loving home where she can feel secure and cherished. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

Cat and dog adoptions include the spay or neuter surgery, a microchip, and current vaccinations. Please visit our available animals page to view all of our adoptable animals.
