Pets of the Week Miranda _Charlotte_Dora

This week’s SCHS Pets of the Week are Miranda and Charlotte, and Dora! To make an appointment to meet them, call us at 608-356-2520.

Miranda is one of those dogs who quietly wins you over with her gentle soul. At just over 3 years old, this medium-sized sweetheart came to us as a stray, but it’s clear she once had a loving home. She walks beautifully on a leash and knows all the basics—sit, stay, lie down, and even a polite paw shake. She does it all just to make you happy, not for treats or praise. Miranda is calm, quiet, and seems to be housebroken. She’s very shy in the shelter and often looks confused, but she lights up when she can sit close and rest against someone. She’s kind to everyone—kids, other dogs, even cats—and just wants to feel safe and loved again. She is up to date on her vaccinations and will be spayed upon adoption.

Charlotte and Dora are the best kind of duo—sweet, snuggly, and just a little bit sassy. These two three-year-old sisters were surrendered through no fault of their own and are now looking for a home where they can stay together. They’re both black and white beauties with gentle, loving personalities. Big fans of treats and catnip, they’ll happily curl up in your lap (yes, both at once!) for a good nap or some cuddles. They’re also pretty chatty and like to “talk” to their people. When they’re not snuggling, they enjoy doing their own thing—playing independently or watching the world go by. If you’re looking for a built-in pair of affectionate companions, Charlotte and Dora are your girls. They are both spayed and up to date on their vaccinations.

Cat and dog adoptions include the spay or neuter surgery, a microchip, and current vaccinations. Please visit our available animals page to view all of our adoptable animals.
